We picked the wrong weekend to go to St. Augustine: it was HOT! I know it is summer, in Florida, and most of the country had been uncharacteristically hot, but a heat index of over 110 F does not equate to "let's casually take our...

We are looking forward to summer and setting out o We are looking forward to summer and setting out on a couple of road trips again! We've had a goal for some time to visit all 63 of the USA's national parks. So far, we've made it to 20 of the parks, and we are hoping to visit more this summer.

These photos were taken during a winter hike through the Narrows at Zion National Park. This was one of our favorite hikes in the park--it was so crazy to wade through the water between towering cliffs. The views were absolutely fantastic and it was quite the workout!

We never really stop to give it a look, but Micah decided to stop and photograph it this winter and it’s so fun to notice all the details of this strange tree!

The trail is 1.5 miles long and is regularly groomed. We wanted to snowshoe the loop trail, but unfortunately, we ran out of time. However, we did manage to walk around the Upper and Lower Terrace boardwalks to explore. As we wandered along the boardwalks, we caught a fantastic sunset from the upper terraces. The sky turned cotton candy pink and was reflected on the surface of the hot springs. What a sight!
