We spent a long weekend in Dallas for the eclipse, and we managed to fit a few other fun adventures in, as well. Besides stuffing ourselves with BBQ and other delicious eats:

📚 We (or we should say Jenna 🤓) nerded out on history at a presidential library and Dealy Plaza

🎤 Danced at the final show of the @dadimakesmusic tour, after bumping into him on the street before the concert

🪬 Got lost in the crazy maze of The Real Unreal at Meow Wolf in Grapevine

☀️ And relaxed poolside at our hotel—it sure was nice to escape the cold for a few days!

We traveled to the Dallas area for the eclipse, and we thought that all we were going to see was clouds. As luck would have it, the clouds parted and we were able to experience 3 minutes of totality under a clear sky! Check out our previous post for some videos of the experience. Absolutely incredible!

We drove to the Dallas area hoping to see the ecli

We drove to the Dallas area hoping to see the eclipse, but things weren’t looking too great this morning. Clouds were rolling in quick and we tried to not get our hopes up. To avoid driving in traffic, we made our way to the event at the Frisco Rough Riders Ballpark. The baseball field was located across the street from our hotel, so it was super convenient.

We watched the partial eclipse through a mixture of clouds and sunny skies. Right as totality started, the clouds dispersed and we had a clear view of the eclipse for a solid 3 minutes! It was absolutely insane 🤯 The skies were eerily dark, you could see planets, there was a chill in the air, and maybe even a few tears in our eyes. We loved hearing everyone’s reactions around us, but please excuse our silly babbling 😂 It was definitely one of the most amazing experiences we’ve ever had. Here are some clips of our experience. Hey, it’s been awhile! Popping back in to share

Hey, it’s been awhile! Popping back in to share a bit about our recent weekend trip to Denver. We watched a baseball game at Coors Field followed by Sandlot on the scoreboard, explored the crazy world of Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station, saw Gregory Alan Isakov and Jeremiah Fraites perform at Red Rocks Amphitheater, and ate at some great restaurants. It was a quick trip, but we sure packed a lot in!
