12 Mar Getting Our Paint On: Street Art Tour in Berlin, Germany

Posted at 09:15h in Blog, Europe, Germany, Urban Adventure

Berlin is a city famous for its wide range of street art, murals and graffiti. The art found in the city comes in all shapes and sizes, but I didn’t realize just how diverse it could be or how in-depth the history was. That all...

Stockholm is said to have the “world’s longest art exhibit”. You might think this art would be in a giant traditional museum, but it’s actually not! It’s located throughout 70 miles of Stockholm’s subway system—90 out of the 100 stations are adorned with art. So,...

05 Dec Wandering Amongst Street Art in Athens

Posted at 09:27h in Blog, Europe, Greece, Urban Adventure

It’s that time again. Time for more street art photos—as I’ve said before, Athens is filled with street art, and supposedly has one of the largest displays in the world. Although initially, street art can make a place seem unsafe and gritty, that’s definitely not...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I love street art!  We've scoped out street art and murals in cities such as Miami, Belfast, Lake Worth, and many more, so when I read about all the murals of Winnipeg, I knew we had...

Peace Wall in Belfast, Northern Ireland

06 Jan The Troubles of Belfast through Black Cabs, Murals and Peace Walls

Posted at 09:08h in Blog, Europe, Northern Ireland, UK, Urban Adventure

I don't even know where to begin when talking about the Troubles of Belfast in Northern Ireland; we recently visited the town of Belfast and learned about the city's colorful history. The political disputes have been going on for essentially over 100 years, but the...

30 Sep Street Art in Miami at the Wynwood Walls

Posted at 08:52h in Blog, Florida, South Florida, United States, Urban Adventure

I love street art--there's something about the raw grittiness and sheer talent that makes me stop dead in my tracks. I could wander around looking at street art all day, sunup to sundown, which makes the Wynwood Art District near Midtown Miami, a perfect place to...

Did you know the northern lights were out last nig Did you know the northern lights were out last night? 😆 Ha, we figured we had to add some photos to the gazillion that are already online.

It truly was an epic show though. We were watching from the lake in Minnesota. I couldn’t pull myself away and stayed up watching until 4:30 a.m. It was fascinating to see the aurora borealis in all directions, most of the purples we saw were all over the sky right around sunset and throughout the night in the south. It was crazy to hear how active all the wildlife was, too. I heard birds, animals splashing in the water, coyotes howling, and geese honking like crazy.

Hopefully we will all get another fantastic show tonight!
We spent a long weekend in Dallas for the eclipse, We spent a long weekend in Dallas for the eclipse, and we managed to fit a few other fun adventures in, as well. Besides stuffing ourselves with BBQ and other delicious eats:

📚 We (or we should say Jenna 🤓) nerded out on history at a presidential library and Dealy Plaza

🎤 Danced at the final show of the @dadimakesmusic tour, after bumping into him on the street before the concert

☀️ And relaxed poolside at our hotel—it sure was nice to escape the cold for a few days!
