Posted at 10:20h in Blog, National Parks, Outdoor Adventure, United States, Utah

The higher we climbed the more nervous I got. I held the chain as I peered over the edge and thought to myself, “What in the world did we get ourselves into?!” Our path was narrow and rocky, the drop offs on both sides were more...

One adventure that I have avoided since I was a child was horseback riding. When I was younger I did go on several horseback rides, but it wasn’t something that I ever had an itch to do as the years went by. Well, that all changed...

03 Oct One Day Road Trip around the Snæfellsnes Peninsula from Reykjavik, Iceland

Posted at 09:30h in Blog, Europe, Iceland, Outdoor Adventure

Is it possible to road trip the entire Snæfellsnes Peninsula in a day from Reykjavík? That's what we wondered as we set off for the second part of our Iceland road trip. We traded in our Happy Camper for a SADcar (quite comical, no?) and...

Did you know the northern lights were out last nig Did you know the northern lights were out last night? 😆 Ha, we figured we had to add some photos to the gazillion that are already online.

It truly was an epic show though. We were watching from the lake in Minnesota. I couldn’t pull myself away and stayed up watching until 4:30 a.m. It was fascinating to see the aurora borealis in all directions, most of the purples we saw were all over the sky right around sunset and throughout the night in the south. It was crazy to hear how active all the wildlife was, too. I heard birds, animals splashing in the water, coyotes howling, and geese honking like crazy.

Hopefully we will all get another fantastic show tonight!
