Giveaway: Airport Parking from The Parking Spot

Who wants some free airport parking?! Read on to find out how to enter for your chance to win!

Airport parking can be costly, especially when parking on site at the airport. To save a few bucks, we always choose alternative parking options such as a park and ride. My requirements are that the parking lot is close to the airport so the shuttle ride isn’t too long and that it offers significant savings.

That being said, I was excited when The Parking Spot contacted me about offering a giveaway to our readers–the giveaway consists of a 3-day airport parking voucher to be used at one of the Parking Spot locations! I haven’t had a chance to use their services yet, unfortunately, but by the benefits they offer, I know I would book with them if they were at an airport close to me. We’ve used off site airport parking a multitude of times at numerous airports, and I would be happy to park my car at one of their facilities!

The Parking Spot has a Spot Club membership that is free to join and I would definitely recommend signing up. Some of the perks offered are continuously running shuttles, luggage assistance, online reservations, express check-in and check-out with your card and even a free water bottle. Even though these perks are great, my favorite one is that you receive a free day of parking for every seven paid days. Can’t argue with that!  And, with their brightly colored yellow and black spotted shuttles, they will be easy to spot at the airport when you return from your trip.

One downfall of their service has been the $4.95 online reservation fee–after listening to customer complaints, the Parking Spot decided to eliminate the reservation fee for Spot Club members. Free online reservations began May 12th at the Atlanta Hartsfield location and it will be rolled out to all Parking Spot locations by the end of this summer.

So where are the Parking Spot locations, you ask? They have a total of 32 locations at 20 major airports around the U.S., and here is a list so you can see if there is one near you:

Atlanta Hartsfield, Austin Bergstrom, Buffalo–Niagara, Dallas Fort Worth, Dallas Love Field, Denver International, Houston Hobby, Houston IAH, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Nashville, New York JFK, New York LaGuardia, Newark EWR, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix Sky Harbor, Pittsburgh, Port Columbus, and Lambert -St. Louis. More information is available at www.theparkingspot.com.

For your chance to win a 3-day parking voucher at your choice of Parking Spot location, enter through the form below prior to 12:00 am on 5/28/14.

I like to park my car myself at an off-site parking lot and take their shuttle to the terminal.

Very cool. I usually don’t have to worry about car parking at the airport (I don’t even own a car)! lol But the few times when I did end up driving a friends car for a short trip, I always opted out for the cheapest route possible. Thanks for the Giveaway!

I live almost next door to a Parking Spot so it is my preferred spot!

My preferred type of airport parking is actually parking way off-site…either at the MARTA station, or just taking Uber/Lyft to the closest station to my house. It’s typically cheaper this way and I don’t have to deal with traffic, especially if I’m traveling in the morning.

I used the Parking Spot before at Memphis Airport before they decided to close down their location but always had great service! This would be very useful in the future for us for one of our ‘Weekend Getaways’!

Terminal is best – easiest & closest. But way too expensive. So Parking Spot it is.
