15 Aug In Motion: Norway
We spent 3 1/2 days in the beautiful country of Norway, and it wasn’t near enough time to see even close to what we wanted to see. In regards to our budget, on the other hand, three days in Norway was plenty. Even with the high prices, we had a great time and were able to see some amazing sights. From the mountains, fjords and waterfalls to the strikingly modern architecture, mixed with the viking history and harbors of the cities, there was one stunning landscape and cityscape after another.
Because we had such a short visit in Norway and covered so much ground, we spent a good portion of our time on trains; it’s a good thing we actually enjoy train travel! The rest of our time was consumed by hiking, taking a boat through the fjord, tracing our family history, and exploring the capital city, Oslo. Here is a look at our whirlwind journey through Norway:
