Raising the 60 ft. Flag in Downtown Delray Beach, FL on the 4th of July

Celebrating the 4th of July

We hope everyone has a great 4th of July, whether you celebrate the United States holiday of Independence or not! Our favorite way to spend the holiday is back home at the lakes in MN, which we get to do this year, so we are pretty excited. We have spent the holiday in Florida the past couple of years–here are a few photos of the 60 ft. flag being raised in Delray Beach, FL:

When we aren’t able to make it to the lakes, watching the fireworks over the water is a must, and watching them over the ocean is a prime option and happens to be one of my favorite alternatives. But, no matter where we may be, spending time with our friends and family is the most important part of the equation to a successful 4th of July!
