28 Dec 20,000 Sparkling Lights

Visiting Paris most definitely requires a stop at the Eiffel Tower, but my favorite way to take in the monument is to watch it sparkle from afar. Every evening on the hour, the Eiffel Tower puts on a 5 minute show with 20,000 sparkling, twinkling lights. Watching the show from your room’s balcony is the perfect option if you are fortunate enough to have a view of the tower, but if not, the view from the top of the Arc de Triomphe is also hard to beat.
