24 Aug My friends are animals

It’s Friday again! The theme of this week’s #FriFotos is Faces.  What is better than an exotic animal face right outside your car window?  Well, I guess I can probably think of quite a few things, but still, it’s pretty cool to see a rhino head straight for your car with no fence to protect you.   Or an ostrich trying to eat your finger through the glass of your car window.  I do love that ostrich–we became fast friends.

Lion Country Safari in Loxahatchee, allows you to drive through a “safari” at your own pace, which enables you to get up close to many different animals.  I really enjoy the drive through safari and the giraffe feeding area in the zoo (although, I could do without the rest of the walk through park)–it’s great for a relaxing afternoon when you feel like doing something out of the norm.  It takes about an hour to drive through the entire park, but you can go as fast or slow as you wish and even a drive through a second or third time if you are so inclined.  Here are some of my favorite iPhone face photos of my friends, or ummm…the animals at Lion Country Safari.
