Close up of South Florida Beaches

I love the beaches in Southern Florida–specifically in Delray Beach and Boca Raton. They aren’t the white sand beaches with crystal clear water, but they are still gorgeous and just as relaxing. My favorite beach is Boca Raton’s Red Reef Park as it is secluded by greenery and feels more natural than a lot of beaches in the area.

This weeks #FriFotos theme is close up! Here is a close up look at my two favorite beaches:

Man of War Jellyfish at Red Reef Park, Boca Raton, FL

Coconut at Delray Beach, FL

Wave at Red Reef Park, Boca Raton, FL

Seaweed at Red Reef Park, Boca Raton, FL

Shell at Red Reef Park, Boca Raton, FL

Love the pictures. We didn’t stop off at the Red Reef Park as we traveled down Route 1, but t looks pretty amazing (at least from close up). We may have to stop by before we return to Maine!

Yes, definitely stop by if you are in the area! Parking is pretty steep, so if you want cheaper parking, check out the Pavilion area off of Palmetto Park Road. They are right next door and pretty similar!

Hi Jenna, thanks for the great travel tips, the reviews, and the hints, including Delray Beach and Boca Raton areas.

    Pictures are really excellent also.

It certainly helps when we can read a blog such as yours, and be guided by it. Many adventures to be had by all.

    Cheers Sharon…
